Furniture Removal in Byron & Houston County
Old furniture is awkward, heavy, and hard to move alone. Couches that won't fit through the doorway, sectionals stuck in basements, mattresses you can't bend in half — we've moved them all out.
We come in two-man crews with straps, dollies, and the patience to take it slow around your trim and stair railings. If a piece won't fit through the door, we break it down onsite. Nothing leaves through a wall.
Two-man crews. Teardown if needed. Donations where possible.
Furniture we routinely haul:
- Couches and sectionals — Sleeper sofas, sectionals, recliners, loveseats. Teardown onsite if the piece won't fit through the doorway.
- Mattresses and box springs — Single, queen, king, and bunk-bed mattresses. We can take the frame too if it's coming out.
- Dressers, desks, and tables — Heavy hardwood dressers, executive desks, dining tables — disassembled if needed for tight spaces.
- Patio furniture and grills — Old patio sets, fire pits, propane grills (tank disconnected), and gazebo frames.
- Hot tubs — Drained, disconnected, broken down to manageable sections, and hauled. Can usually be done in one visit.
You don't want to wrestle a queen mattress through your hallway alone, and you don't want to hire one of those national-chain haulers that quotes $400 to take a single couch. We sit in between — fast, fair, and built for furniture.

Why Choose Cory's
-
Two-Man Crew Standard
Furniture removal isn't a one-person job. Every booking gets two crew members so we can lift, pivot, and protect your floors.
-
Teardown Onsite
If your couch came up the stairs in pieces, it's leaving in pieces. We bring saws and tools — no damage to your trim, walls, or doorways.
-
Donation Partners
Usable furniture goes to local Houston County donation partners when you want it to. Lowers your cost and keeps usable pieces out of the landfill.
-
No Surprise Fees
Stairs, narrow halls, and basement pickups don't trigger surprise upcharges. The quote is the quote.
Sectional Sofa Out The Front Door
A homeowner in Kathleen had a giant L-shaped sectional that was assembled in the living room — and never came back apart. The doorway was 32 inches; the sofa wasn't. We got it out in 45 minutes.
How we handled it
- Measure and plan: Measured the doorway, the hallway, and the sofa pieces. Identified the seam where it could come apart cleanly.
- Onsite breakdown: Pulled the connector hardware, separated the legs, and broke the frame down in two clean cuts. Quiet, no debris.
- Walk it out: Padded the frame edges and wrapped them through the doorway one piece at a time. No scuffs on the trim, no gouges in the door frame.
- Sweep and reset: Vacuumed up the bits of fabric and foam from the breakdown. Living room was photo-ready before we left.

Called Cory in the morning and the trailer was at my carport by lunch. Hauled out a decade of garage clutter and swept up after — couldn't believe how fair the price was.

Got The Hot Tub Out The Same Day
Three other companies told me a hot tub teardown was a multi-day job. Cory had it broken down and hauled in a few hours. Wish I'd called him first.

Will Use Again Without Hesitation
Old fence, yard waste, two couches and a fridge — gone in one trip. Showed up when he said, charged what he quoted. That's all you can really ask for.
